Excerpt from a letter received by a prisoner at Oshkosh Correctional Institution on 11/1/17. This communication describes a recent increase of prices at Keefe services through the canteen canteen: “Mouth wash was $1,86 for 16 oz now colgate 6 oz mouthwash for $3.83. They also discontinued toothpaste for $2.55 and replaced it with crest toothpaste for $3.68. The list goes on….Weekly menus that show how much soy we are consuming which is causing health problems for a lot of inmates here.”
Conditions in the Wisconsin prison system need to change.
