New policies that prohibit inmates from reporting crimes perpetrated by staff at OSCI

OSCI staff have refused to forward an email regarding staff misconduct and criminal activities. This is a result, I’m assuming, of new policies that prohibit inmates from reporting crimes perpetrated by staff. I’ve reported several felonies and, in one case, I was issued a conduct report, sanctioned, and threatened with program termination. Several staff members have expressed the need and expectation to be allowed to commit felonies against inmates in order to ensure that inmates “know their place.”

There are reports from inmates going to visits that it is taking hours for visitors to be processed in. OSCI is refusing to utilize the entire visiting room, and several staff have intimated that the warden is directing them to frustrate visitors in order to deter visiting. Inmates are no longer permitted to use the restroom during visits. All tables are about 14 inches high. No table games are allowed.

On the whole, the prison environment here is deteriorating fast.
