Excerpt from prisoner at Green Bay Correctional, sent 10/30/17:
“This prison has an unlawful practice of denying certain publications that speaks on social, political and different beliefs that the prison does not agree with…I’m currently pursuing a federal lawsuit for violation to my 1st amendment rights….Furthermore this prison has a policy that says it’s supposed to notify the publishers of any publications that were denied and the reason why it was denied.”
Conditions in the Wisconsin prison system need to change.
